Every cheese has a story. That’s what I learned after speaking with Angie and Jeff DiMeo, owners of the new artisanal cheese shop opening in Wayland Square this summer.

The seeds for East Side Cheese & Provisions were planted more than two decades ago when Jeff DiMeo was an undergrad at Northeastern University.

East Side Cheese & Provisions, a full-service specialty cheese shop, proudly announces that it will bring artisan cheese and accompaniments to Providence, RI in the summer of 2023.

Despite owning a successful food consultancy agency, Jeff and Angie DiMeo long talked about having a specialty cheese shop of their own.

A sign for “East Side Cheese and Provisions” is currently posted at 17 South Angell Street in Wayland Square. 

The couple is excited to have the freedom to offer the community and beyond new and exciting products, or as Jeff put it, "a little bit of everything fun and delicious."
