Indulge in a  cultural and linguistic experience that brings together the rich flavors of Italy in this exciting class: Exploring the Italian Language through Cheese & Wine

Join us for an amazing night of language learning, cheese tasting, and wine sipping, during which we’ll explore some of our favorite regions in Italy from North to South. During this class, we invite you to immerse yourself in the world of the Italian language, while also tantalizing your taste buds with some delightful Italian cheese and wines.

East Side Cheese & Provisions owners, Angie & Jeff DiMeo, will be joined by Julia Millon, local Italian teacher who is passionate about Italian culture, language, and food. She believes that there are amazing places to travel in Italy outside of the traditional Rome/Florence/Venice tourist spots and likes to showcase different regions and towns through food, especially cheese!

Class Details:
Led by Italian teacher, Julia Millon, you'll embark on an engaging linguistic journey. Through conversational exercises, you'll learn to express yourself in Italian! Julia will teach you the best way to order a bottle of wine for the table in Umbria, how to ask for a drink with your hands, and how some very special cheeses are made!

With Angie & Jeff, discover the secrets behind the time-honored craft of Italian cheesemaking and insights into the deep heritage and artistry that produces such delicious flavors. We will incorporate 5-7 cheeses and accompaniments into the evening alongside complementary wine pairings.

What to Expect:
In just 1.5 hours, you'll gain a taste of the Italian language and culture, making it a perfect introduction for beginners and a fun refresher for those with prior experience. Additionally, you'll leave with a newfound appreciation for Italian cheese and wine!
